AL-KO has released a service campaign to inspect and rectify possible incorrect fitment of brake calipers to some caravans. (Service campaign ASC005)
In some cases the brake caliper may not have been fitted to caravans according to correct specifications. An incorrectly fitted brake caliper may compromise the braking performance of the caravan and may dislodge from the mounting plate.
If you have purchased a caravan fitted with a G&S Chassis and disc brakes between May 2019 & Oct 2020, we request that you contact us on 03 9767 3700 to determine if your caravan is affected by this campaign.
Affected customers should already have received a letter from AL-KO. If you haven’t been contacted and believe your caravan needs to be part of this campaign, please contact us to determine the appropriate course of action.
