—AL-KO Warranty Claim Procedure

1        WARRANTY PROCESS

1.1   To make a claim against this Warranty, the Customer must complete and file the Warranty Form which can be obtained from the Warranty page on the ALKO website (alko.com.au)

1.2   After submitting the Warranty Form, AL-KO will acknowledge receipt of the Customer’s warranty claim and then review the provided information.

1.3   AL-KO will contact the nominated representative of the Customer and advise on the next steps.

1.4   If the defective Product needs to be returned to AL-KO for inspection or testing, the Customer must make the Product available to AL-KO or its authorised repair agent within 14 days of contacting AL-KO.

1.5   The Customer is responsible for all costs associated with transporting the Product to AL-KO or its authorised repair agent for inspection and testing.

1.6   If, after inspection and testing, AL-KO or its authorised repair agent finds no defect in the Product’s design, material or workmanship, the Customer will be liable to pay AL-KO all costs of service, work, and testing carried out on the Product. 

1.7   After reviewing the warranty claim and inspecting the Product (if applicable), AL-KO will communicate with the Customer to advise the following:

(a)             handling of the claimed Product;

(b)             where applicable, the repair process, including parts sent to the repairer. Repairers may be asked to use their stock. Replacement parts will be sent from AL-KO, and

(c)             AL-KO will provide the labour charges per the AL-KO Warranty Approved Repair Labour Times (WTD-P-004).

 

(d)             The repairer/dealer is required to email the invoice to warranty.aus@alko-tech.com for the agreed cost. The invoice must be in PDF format and include the following details: customer information, caravan make and model, caravan chassis number, reference number, and a comprehensive description of the work performed. Additionally, the invoice should contain the banking details for payment deposits. Failure to provide this information will result in payment delays.

 

1.8        Other issues that may arise during the repair need to be communicated to the AL-KO warranty department to ensure that it can be approved and your time and parts assessed.
